Oil field Fracking Tour in Canada
Oil field Fracking Tour in Canada. Check out this hydraulic fracturing (or fracking) operation along with tons of support equipment. Pretty cool stuff, it's just a look at some of the machines & services at such a site. The video is not intended for educational, informative or advocacy, - just entertainment and curiosity. These clips were recorded a few years ago, If I recall, it's for a company that has since sold out & no longer operating under the name then in business.

Thousands of Crabs on Vancouver Island BC

Thousands of Crabs on Vancouver Island BC. On this trip to Vancouver island a handful of years ago, my son & I found this little area on a beach that had thousands of crabs. From tiny babies to a few inches across. They were everywhere. Cool stuff, fun trip. A different camera with not the same zoom capabilities as the cell phone I use now, but still fun stuff. Owl Catches A Mouse. Checkout this big Owl catching a mouse. Amazing nature- crappy camera work! We tried a couple different days & this was a digital camera with a slower zoom, so I should have stayed focused on the mouse instead of trying to follow the owl. It was still a fun little adventure. Now we wait for the "hate comments" this one will likely not be bought up directly from National Geo...

Geta work would ya 😂
These “see part 2” videos are annoying..Would have been interesting to see.. So it goes… gather followers and likes.. I’ve got to get off this shit
Well, it's not possible to post something longer than 60 seconds as a short, so pretty tough to pull off the whole thing in one tiny video. -Gather followers or interest? - yes sir! It's fun to both share stuff and to connect with people like yourself who would otherwise never cross paths! We might not even be on the same continent let alone be from the same community, so it would be highly unlikely we'd ever meet any other way. Stay tuned for more & thanks for your comment my friend.
How does someone get a career in logging?
Just gotta be around where it's going & get hired on. Having mechanical experience obviously would help, but anyone who shows interest and good work ethics can find success. ( at least that's what I think) I think these log skidders are about the coolest machines built.
What a life you have, that thing is a beaut
cool stuff hey? - now to just get the time to process all the wood that is waiting! (and deliver all the wood to people who have called.)
Do you have children who you don’t know about? I swear it looks like you can be my friends Dad who he hasn’t met
That's funny. I do not, but he's welcome to claim me as a "cool fake" Stay tuned for more & thanks for watching and for your comments. It's fun to connect with people.
No spinal cord removal ??
No. That is something that has not been worried about for history until recently. This is for personal use and not for sale either. He's definitely a very skilled butcher. Stay tuned for more my friend & thanks for watching.
Big boom makes a small hole, and the beaver will repair in no time.
@@Stefan_Boerjesson they certainly won't waste any time repairing things. If you watch to the end and the pinned video in the comments you'll see it didn't happen in this case and became even more interesting exploring the abandoned beaver house with my kids. Thanks for watching. Stay tuned for more my friend.
What a skilled butcher ❤❤❤❤❤
He's definitely a very skilled butcher, it was fun to watch and learn. Stay tuned for more my friend & thanks for watching.
That would be handy
@@hallandskidder6343 pretty cool machine hey?? A bit much for price tag and electronics for my taste though.
That Is A Big Move 😮😮😀
@@chrischiampo7647 yes. It was a few hours travel time between locations- probably 4 hours 1 way, and if I recall, someone said about 150 loads in total.
Boy Would I Love to Run That Harvester Nathan 😀❤️😮😊👍🏼
@@chrischiampo7647 that would certainly take a few hours to figure out how to run it properly.
So that’s how paracord is made
@@johnfarmer4099 I think paracord is braided, or at least the outside is. But this method is certainly still in use. Stay tuned for more my friend and thanks for watching.

@@saskrockhoundoutdoors9865 that's for sure hey? A new head is probably a couple hundred thousand.
Couple of bucks eh 😂
16:47 what was his answer to the oiling of the saw question? I couldn’t tell which he said. That was my instant initial thought when he started with it lol. Great video!
He said vegetable oil is what he uses. Myself I prefer a reciprocating saw, but otherwise he's set up WAY better than anything I've ever seen before. He's definitely a very skilled butcher. Stay tuned for more my friend & thanks for watching.
never ever learned such a practical stuff in eventrade school, right middle in open field in Alberta's freezing temperature , wonderful practical with least amount of tools & great explanation ..................and how can someone forget wonderful CameraWomen ! Congratulations to entire team ! Thanks !

ez peeze been doing that since i was 15, i am 70 now been running dozers all my adult life cept for a stint in the airforce. love it big tonka toys
You bet! As for the first time ( for me last winter) it felt like i was climbing into the sky! Last week I loaded a 6T & felt pretty good about myself, smooth coming over the top. Stay tuned for more my friend & thanks for watching.

Most definitely not- especially now. I bought this probably a dozen years ago. Stay tuned for more my friend & thanks for watching.
That’s a good way of putting a kid to work lol. I support this dad.
Oh there's plenty of that kind of stuff here for kids to work on. - way better than electronics in my opinion. Stay tuned for more my friend & thanks for watching.

Rishloo- "Dead Rope Machine"
@@mikegLXIVMM I hope you enjoyed it. It's a great old antique. Stay tuned for more my friend.
@@lovesloudcars Good video, where do you buy the rope making machine?
It's interesting how well y'all shoot and how poorly y'all operate a camera. Glad no one was blow up.
I definitely could have edited this one better! I hope you enjoyed the good parts. He's definitely a good shooter. Stay tuned for more my friend & thanks for watching.
I always put my cutting edge on the rails to push the trailer down as well as to not peel the traction bars off the beaver tail.
that makes sense. there's certainly a lot of strain on things climbing up onto it. Stay tuned for more my friend & thanks for watching.
Man is the only animal that causes pain to others with no other object than wanting to do it. Evil is a quality that only man possesses, we are the only being that kills and harms just for fun. (Arthur Schopenhauer)
Makes my mouth water!! Love the innovative design!
@@OutothehousewithPaul it works really well. I would like to build a stainless steel trailer version of this. Easier to clean and I'm sure it could be rented out regularly enough to pay for itself.
@@lovesloudcars That would be a great project. You are always thinking Buddy!
Yo en ves de estar grabando estubiera encuerando ls otra res
very neat. wonder how many miles of rope that lovely little doodad has spun out over the years. Looks well cared for.
That's a good question. It's around a hundred years old & must have some stories to tell! Mostly now I use it for making colored ropes for kids at family reunions and such things. ( though I have used it for other things including making a new string for my boy's re-curve bow) I have a few videos posted of it. Stay tuned for more & thanks for watching!
Put some oil in it
it’s oiled. It’s just sloppy tolerances & cast gears and noise! No high speed bushings or bearings in this one. Stay tuned for more my friend & thanks for watching.

I can fix it with no problem give me I'll tell you how to fix it
Quite the welding job to fix this one. I'm curious how it got broken!? Stay tuned for more my friend & thanks for watching.
Here in Tennessee, a 200 pound pig is NOT a "big one."
Right on. I didn't say 200 pounds is as big as they get, but often people post videos of cooking a "whole pig" but it turns out to be a 15 pound suckling. Do you cook pigs as well & if so do you find a different method for different sizes? Stay tuned for more my friend and thanks for watching.
@@lovesloudcars Long, long ago, I helped cook a whole hog over a hickory coal pit fire every year on the night of July 3. The meat was part of a meal for all the men and their families who worked on the farm. We killed and cleaned the hog, split it in half lengthwise and put it on the fire before dark, along with a freshly killed and cleaned coon. We sat around the fire doing what men do, and then at midnight we turned the hog halves and ate the coon.
Twisted rope isn't worth a damn. Braided is the way to go.
Yes braided is stronger, but not made the same way. If I could find an antique rope maker that made braided I'd buy it too! They're certainly more complex. Stay tuned for more my friend and thanks for watching.
@@lovesloudcars twisted rope often comes unraveled. That's why Commercial fishermen despise it.
Thanks for the video! Lots of equipment to run the show!
Yes. They're a complex operation with many businesses involved.
Not to sure about using OSB for a lid!!??🤔
@@user-bn1sm1sj5g especially an old weathered piece like this one! , but there's sheet metal on the bricks and the osb is above that. Ate it last night. Was a good turnout despite the rain. Stay tuned for more my friend and thanks for watching.
Bird killers
Yes they're certainly not all they're cracked up to be. But we'll stay away from the ridiculous politics, propaganda and tax subsidies involved in them. They are pretty cool machines though. Stay tuned for more my friend and thanks for watching.
Sad thing is they don’t put hard woods back
That's a good point. Here, there's only softwood used or growing. The only "hardwood" that grows here in my area is poplar (aspen). I assume you live in an area where other hardwoods grow like oak maple, and such things. There's all kinds of those that I have no idea what they even look like.

Quite the circus around those frack sites. My brother hauls counterweight for those big cranes holding the reels and building the plant sites. NCSG is the company he works for.
@@chadtosh6831 no shortage of busy things happening around those places. It really is a massive collection of investment to pull off these jobs.
Hey hey! I work for the company in the first part of the video. I’m the diesel mechanic that has to run around and fix all the pumpers and everything on pad!
Right on! Always something to fix no doubt. I used to run vacuum trucks years ago when frac jobs were much smaller. I'd think if you're working on pumpers and such you don't have to deal with as much electronics and emissions garbage as the new trucks.?
Pretty Awesome Facility and Operation 😀😊😀👍🏼

Sorry it look as an Scrab Yard, has nothing much to do with an Quarry. !!!! But if you think so, is OK
Yes. Not a quarry like many places in the world where stone cutting happens. This gravel pit is a river valley, so it's just an ancient river bed. Thanks for watching and for your comment. Stay tuned for more my friend.
I used to sheep shear in USA you can smell cattle yards 50 mile away 200,000 head of cattle
Shearing sheep is a tough job!! You're right about slaughter houses and the smells. Lots of folks have commented on how they thought this method is horrible. Myself I think it's better in many ways. Certainly less stressful for the cattle. Of course this is for personal use, and not meat for sale. Stay tuned for more content my friend and thanks for watching.
